Corn Chip Utility Associate - Weekend Day

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Corn Chip Utility Associate position on the Weekend Day Shift at our Kindig Lane Hanover, PA facility. This position works Friday to Sunday, 5:30AM-5:30PM. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the production of our delicious corn chips. From assisting with mixing and movement of ingredients to performing quality checks and keeping accurate records, your work will directly contribute to delivering the great-tasting snacks our consumers love. You'll also play a key role in keeping the production floor safe, clean, and running smoothly-all while being part of a supportive team that values collaboration and accountability. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the operation of the corn mixing station and movement of flour in the production area 2. Safely operate a tow motor and battery-operated hand jack 3. Train to provide backup support for the sheeter and fryer operators as needed 4. Perform quality checks on baked chips to ensure they meet established standards 5. Maintain accurate and legible records, both manually and electronically 6. Use Redzone Software for recording production and food safety requirements 7. Participate in sanitation activities, including equipment cleaning with mild chemicals, spray cleaners, compressed air tools, and hand-wiping cloths 8. Follow all safety rules, report unsafe practices, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) 9. Routinely bend, lift, and carry 50-80 lbs. 10. Work proactively as part of a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people 11. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements: 1. Ability to work the Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:30 AM-5:30 PM. 2. Ability to routinely bend, lift, and carry 50-80 lbs. throughout the shift. 3. Basic computer skills and ability to accurately complete production records, both manually and electronically. 4. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a tow motor and battery-operated hand jack. 5. Willingness to learn multiple production processes and provide backup support to equipment operators. 6. Ability to follow written instructions, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 7. Willingness to perform equipment cleaning and sanitation duties using approved cleaning chemicals and tools. 8. Strong attention to detail when performing quality checks and monitoring product standards. 9. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
