Full job description

The Short Version We need someone who can sell. Not "manage a pipeline" or "support the GTM function." Actually sell. Get in front of practice leaders and revenue cycle executives, close deals, and help us scale our GTM motion across US healthcare. This is a field role. You'll be on the road a lot, meeting customers in person, because that's where our deals get won. You'll be the second dedicated GTM hire at a company backed by Y Combinator, 20VC, and Fly Ventures. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders and Nima, our Founding GTM Lead. You'll have real equity. And if you're good, you'll be leading a team within a year. This is the role people look back on as the one that changed everything. Why Clicks Healthcare providers lose a huge share of their revenue and staff time to administrative work: prior authorizations, eligibility checks, claim follow-ups, denials, appeals, payment posting. Most of it is people clicking through payer portals and practice management systems all day. Clicks builds AI agents that do anything from prior auth to denial management and payment posting. Not copilots. Not dashboards. Our agents log into the same systems a human would, work through the queue, and complete tasks end-to-end, 24/7, with guaranteed cost savings of 50% or more. Why providers are buying now:

  • Payers are using AI to deny claims. Providers who don't fight back with AI fall behind.
  • RCM teams face constant attrition, because so much of the work is repetitive. Our agents take on the work teams don't want, so staff can focus on patients.

What makes this real:

  • $4.5M+ raised from Y Combinator, 20VC, Fly Ventures, and Yellow
  • Live with specialty provider groups and RCM companies across the US
  • A clear wedge: orthopedics, spine, pain, and multi-specialty groups, MSOs, and hospitals
  • Deploy in weeks, not months. No IT project. Just results.

Our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to autonomous operations. Healthcare is where we start. We're a small team based in San Francisco. The window to join as a founding member is closing. What You'll Actually Do Hunt and close deals. You own the full cycle: find the prospect, get the meeting, run discovery, demo the agents on real workflows, build the ROI case, negotiate, close. This is not a role where meetings get handed to you. Build your own pipeline. Cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn, conferences, walk-ins, warm intros, referral partners. You'll work closely with Nima to sharpen the playbook, but your pipeline is yours to create. Be in the field. Travel frequently to meet practice administrators, executive directors, and revenue cycle leaders on site. Walk into their offices, see how their billing teams actually work, and build the relationships that close deals. Build the business case. Map a practice's workflows, find where staff time and revenue are leaking, and show exactly what Clicks saves and recovers. Onboard customers. You don't just close and disappear. You make sure customers go live, see value, and expand into more workflows. Shape the product. You're in the field every week hearing what matters. You'll feed that directly to product and engineering. What you learn will determine what we build next. Grow into leadership. As we scale, you'll have a path to owning a region and leading the reps underneath you. Who We're Looking For Must-haves:

  • 2-4 years in sales where you had to earn your results
  • You've built your own pipeline from scratch and closed it
  • Track record of exceeding targets. Show us the numbers.
  • You can explain AI to a practice administrator or CFO in plain language and make them care
  • You're excited to be on the road a lot and love selling face to face
  • Comfortable with chaos. You don't need a process to get started, you build the process
  • You want to be at an early-stage company because you want ownership, not because you want a title

Strong signals:

  • You've sold into physician groups, MSOs, hospitals, or revenue cycle leaders
  • You understand the revenue cycle: prior auth, eligibility, claims, denials, payment posting
  • You know your way around Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Attio, or similar tools
  • Technical curiosity. You don't need to code, but you should be able to demo an AI product and answer tough questions about how it works

Compensation

  • Base salary: $100,000 to $180,000 (depending on experience)
  • Commission: 10% of first-year revenue from every customer you close
  • Equity: 0.25% to 1.00%. This is founding-level equity at a company with top-tier investors and strong momentum. It could be worth a lot.
  • Location: San Francisco. Office-first when you're not on the road, with frequent travel to customers.

Why This Role, Why Now Most sales roles at startups come with a deck, a CRM full of leads, and a manager telling you what to do. This is the opposite. You'll have founders and a GTM lead who care deeply about sales, a product that sells itself once people see it, and the freedom to build something that didn't exist before you showed up. The trade-off is that it's hard. You'll hear "no" a lot. You'll be figuring things out in real time. Some weeks will be a grind. But if you're the kind of person who thrives on that, who wants to look back in five years and say "I built that," this is the role.
