Pitch Technician

You deserve a job you love Volt is immediately hiring Pitch Technician in New York, New York As a Pitch Technician , you will: Be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation and maintenance of AV equipment in pitch rooms and spaces Be responsible for backing up the Executive Event Technician when needed to ensure seamless event execution Be responsible for providing technical expertise to impress clients and guests by showcasing AV system capabilities Be responsible for performing Tier 2 break/fix activities and troubleshooting AV and network issues quickly Be responsible for communicating and following up on technical issues with event leads and producers Be responsible for working flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required Be responsible for configuring, operating, and managing AV systems and related software Be responsible for providing end-user support, consulting, and training to event organizers Be responsible for identifying and resolving potential issues proactively before they impact events Be responsible for liaising with helpdesk and sales teams to ensure client needs are met Be responsible for assisting with general office AV requirements when no pitches/events are scheduled This is a full time, Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: 5-7 years of experience in corporate AV service, commissioning, and training end users Strong ability to operate, learn, and triage complex AV systems Skilled in troubleshooting technical equipment and AV network issues Clear communication skills for reporting and resolving technical issues Experience with AV configuration and management software Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with Cisco or Poly video conferencing equipment Resourceful and accommodating approach to client and guest needs Ability to handle last-minute AV troubleshooting under pressure.
