Full job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Engineering Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Project Management of technical issues related to our key products, including Generators, Gas Turbines, and Steam Turbines. Your primary focus will be to resolve significant product issues that lead to non-conformance costs and adversely affect our customers, all while adhering to the Product Integrity Process (PIP). This structured process guides you through problem definition, root cause analysis, solution generation, verification, implementation, and validation. You will lead cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive effective resolutions. By ensuring the integrity and reliability of our products, you will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining Siemens Energy’s reputation for excellence. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Program Management of scope, schedule, budget, and on-time-delivery of specific technical issue projects/tasks.

  • Conduct Risk Management and develop mitigations to minimize non-conformance costs and availability/reliability impacts.

  • Ensure programs comply with Product Integrity Process while driving the progress and completion of assigned programs.

  • Define and manage scope of issues to ensure successful completion.

  • Develop schedule and budget risk mitigation plans, and control to program requirements.

  • Participate in root cause analysis, solution development and verification.

  • Lead validation activities and facilitate fleet implementation of solutions.

  • Coordinate with internal customers to ensure integrated solutions.

  • Interact with end users to understand the needs of external and internal customers.

  • Collaborate with technical and commercial sides of the business and other departments such as new unit and service.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 6+ Years of project engineering or system integration experience with the development of complex engineering systems in an R&D or manufacturing environment.

  • Technical knowledge and experience on Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and/or Generators.

  • Proven Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership.

  • Strong communication in a team environment

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
