Quality Assurance / Compliance Lead

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Associate / Compliance Lead for a bakery manufacturing environment in Plymouth, MA . This role supports quality and food-safety compliance across production, packaging, labeling, and supplier approval.

Compensation: $60,000 / yr

Location: Plymouth, MA

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Employment type: Direct Hire

What You'll Do:

• Oversee quality assurance activities for production, packaging, and labeling.

• Support compliance with GFSI and HACCP requirements and food-safety standards.

• Manage certification requirements and documentation for Organic, Gluten-Free, Kosher, GFSI, MDAR, TRACES, USDA, and FDA.

• Oversee and document the supplier approval process.

• Work hands-on in the bakery and collaborate with production and other teams to maintain quality standards.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3–5 years of experience in dry or baked goods manufacturing.

• Experience in food manufacturing quality assurance.

• Knowledge of food-safety practices and GFSI/HACCP compliance.

• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability and willingness to work hands-on in a bakery environment.

• Familiarity with relevant certifications and regulatory requirements is an asset.

• Ability to wear required food-safety PPE: head cover, beard cover, white coat, and closed-toe shoes .
