This role will be based out of either Buffalo, NY; Medina, OH; or Tulsa, OK with the option of a hybrid schedule.

What Will You Do?

  • Take full ownership of projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

  • Own the customer relationship as the primary point of contact, driving communication strategy, resolving critical escalations, aligning expectations, and safeguarding customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Function as the key point person for engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business targets.

  • Lead project execution by overseeing milestone tracking, reporting, follow-up activities, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time delivery, margin protection, and overall project performance.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your Experience Should Be...

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within an engineering, heavy industrial or construction firm.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex customer accounts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 10 years’ experience in project management-related roles evidencing similar job responsibilities and outcomes.

  • Experience in financial aspects of project management (margin, variance, cash flow).

  • High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.

  • Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.

  • Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to recognize when to escalate issues

  • Ability to travel on occasion, as required.

  • Experience in matrix organizations, using influence and indirect leadership.

  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
