Substitute Teacher

EMCSD is accepting applications for energetic and motivated Substitute Teachers to work with students at all levels, from K-12. We consider our substitutes to be integral members of the staff. We strongly believe the substitute is able to provide meaningful educational experiences in the absence of the regular staff member by insuring continuity in the educational program, enforcing school rules fairly and consistently, following substitute plans, interacting positively with students and communicating with staff members. Special Qualifications Desired: - High school diploma or GED - Flexible - Dependable, punctual and responsible - Friendly, caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, sensitive, firm personality - Basic computer knowledge may be necessary - Experience in working with children preferred - Good communication and organizational skills The pay is $140 per day. East Mills will also reimburse people to get their sub authorization.
