Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers. You will be responsible for presenting and selling our products, establishing customer accounts, and processing orders with precision and care.

Pay:

$25-$30/hr

Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products to current and potential customers.

  • Establish new customer accounts and gather customer profiles.

  • Prepare quotes, send them to clients, and maintain organized files.

  • Process customer purchase orders efficiently.

  • Provide drawings and other product media to assist customers.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge.

  • Generate new prices using price method tools.

  • Enter new product part numbers, pricing, and delivery details accurately.

  • Exercise independent discretion and judgment on significant matters related to job responsibilities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with purchase orders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of customer service processes and operations.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple job functions simultaneously.

  • Capability to work independently and establish priorities with minimal supervision.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Professional appearance and ability to maintain a positive company image.

  • Strong interpersonal and human interaction skills.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and expand knowledge.

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of inbound call handling and order entry.

  • Experience in data entry and order processing.

Work Environment

The work environment is an open pit style setting with plenty of parking available. There is room for financial growth and longevity after transitioning to a permanent role, with eligibility for a monthly bonus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
