Facility: Sanford Med Ctr Fargo Location: Fargo, ND Address: 5225 23rd Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $24.00 - $38.50 Pay Info: Non-certified techs will start at $24/hour, certified techs will start at $25.50/hour and increase based on years of applicable work experience. $15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants with a two year work commitment.

Department Details

Come work at our Level 1 Trauma center in the heart of Fargo! Join this fast paced team of surgical technologists that support various types of surgical cases including general, trauma, bariatrics, urology, gynecology, robotics, cardiovascular, plastics, ear-nose-throat, oral, pediatric, neuro, peripheral vascular and pediatric and adult orthopedic trauma.

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6:30am-7pm.

Job Summary

Surgical technologist are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. Come and join one of the largest and fastest growing not-for-profit health systems on our journey to be the premier rural health system in the United States!

What you will do:

Provide assistance to the surgeon during surgical procedures, including preparing and organizing operating room instruments and supplies.
Anticipate the surgeons needs during a procedure.

Qualifications

Graduate from approved school for Surgical Technology.

Obtains and maintains state and national certification as a Surgical Technologist at time employment begins. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within first 60 days of employment into position. If working in North Dakota, must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins.
