Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced and collaborative Clinical Research Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our clinical research programs. This leadership role is responsible for advancing clinical research initiatives across the region while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and ethical standards governing human subject research. As a key liaison between research teams and organizational leadership, the Clinical Research Manager drives operational excellence across the research lifecycle, from study feasibility and startup through study conduct, quality assurance, and closeout activities. The successful candidate will provide leadership to research staff, foster strategic partnerships with sponsors and stakeholders, and support a culture of innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare by supporting cutting-edge clinical research and improving patient outcomes throughout Trinity Health Of New England.What You'll Do

  • Provide operational leadership and oversight for clinical research programs and clinical trial activities across Trinity Health Of New England.
  • Lead research feasibility assessments and support evaluation of new clinical trial opportunities.
  • Oversee study startup activities and ensure timely, compliant implementation of clinical trials.
  • Identify and resolve operational barriers impacting research study execution.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and organizational regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Manage and develop clinical research staff through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and retention initiatives.
  • Guide research teams through study startup, IRB submissions, participant management, protocol implementation, sponsor communications, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including sponsors, CROs, vendors, and academic institutions.
  • Oversee research-related quality assurance activities, audits, corrective action planning, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with clinical and operational teams to develop research workflows and EMR-based study solutions.
  • Support research budget planning, contract review activities, and operational resource management.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for research coordinators and staff while promoting professional growth and research excellence.
