Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital | Hartford, CT Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and strategic growth of our Radiation Oncology program. This role partners closely with physicians, clinical teams, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Radiation Oncology department.
  • Manage budgets, productivity, staffing, and departmental performance.
  • Partner with physicians and leadership to drive program growth and service excellence.
  • Oversee quality, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness.
  • Support recruitment, staff development, and employee engagement.
  • Manage capital planning, equipment implementation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate physician billing, coding, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Strong experience in operations, finance, quality improvement, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Oncology or Radiation Oncology leadership experience preferred.
