IMAGING INTERN
Aspirus Langlade Hospital, Antigo, WI
Occasional hours on varied shifts
The Imaging Intern is a student trainee with broad-base knowledge of general radiography science and procedures. The student may have limited clinical experience and is evolving their clinical skills. The practitioner operates various types of equipment in a progressive manner of mastery and independence. Clinical experiences occur under the general supervision of a registered technologist until competencies for their modality are met.
Experience/Qualifications

Current enrollment in an approved radiography program.

Previous work experience in an acute care setting is beneficial but not required.

Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
