Full job description

Job Description

A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Customer Identity Designer. This individual will focus on creating configurable and personalized application experiences based on different user profiles, personas, settings, roles, and access levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong systems design background and experience designing complex platform or enterprise applications rather than primarily consumer-facing products. This person should be technically minded and able to understand how decisions around profiles, permissions, settings, and application configuration impact navigation and the overall presentation layer.

The designer will contribute to both immediate MVP priorities and the broader strategy for creating a unified profile experience that provides customers with greater personalization, privacy, security, and control over how their information is used and shared.

Key Responsibilities Design experiences for customer identity, unified profiles, role management, settings, and access controls. Create configurable experiences that adapt application navigation and functionality based on different user profiles and personas. Help define the strategy for how customer profiles can enable a more personalized application experience. Design platform-level settings, controls, administrative functionality, and profile management experiences. Understand how configuration and settings decisions impact the application's presentation layer and overall user experience. Support MVP design priorities related to unified profiles and role management. Translate existing components from legacy design systems into newer design systems. Build and maintain detailed, reusable components within Figma. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive experiences. Consider privacy, security, permissions, and customer control throughout the design process. Work effectively across a team distributed approximately 50/50 between the U.S. and AMS.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Product Design, UX Design, Systems Design, or similar experience. Advanced experience with Figma, including creating and working with reusable components and design systems. Strong background designing large-scale platforms, enterprise systems, or highly configurable applications. Experience designing applications involving profiles, settings, permissions, access levels, administrative controls, or role-based experiences. Strong systems-thinking capabilities with an understanding of how design decisions in one area of a platform affect the broader user experience. Ability to work closely with technical and engineering teams on complex platform functionality.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
