Position Overview: This position is part of our Production team and is responsible for assembling key components of the robot while managing all tasks, quality standards, and performance metrics within the assigned station. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and enjoys hands-on work, building complex systems, and achieving goals collaboratively. Key Responsibilities: General assembly

  • Assembling sub-components into larger assemblies with basic hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.) and fastening the larger sub-assemblies together

  • Creating wire harnesses, electrical connectors, and soldering PCBs

  • Provide feedback on assembly processes and components

Production Assembly Leadership

  • Lead assembly, quality, and safety within the assigned station and among team members

  • Provide guidance and work collaboratively among team members to meet production goals

  • Proactively seek solutions to ensure the quality, efficient assembly of new production units

  • Help validate new manufacturing processes to improve ease of assembly and quality results

Requirements

  • Someone who is eager and ready to learn new skills with a positive attitude

  • 3+ years in a production environment, ideally with electrical and mechanical components

  • Experience resolving production nonconformances or new production issues

  • Someone who has followed work instructions to produce electromechanical components

  • Some experience with one or more of the following: pneumatic systems and components, electrical connectors, DC motors, low voltage electrical systems, general assembly, component wiring, automotive assembly, assembly process improvement,,, following work instructions, equipment repair

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
