ZF CV Systems North America LLC has job openings (multiple) for the position of Project Manager I based out of its location in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Duties:

Responsible to plan, control, and follow-up on multiple ongoing projects to ensure timely, accurate execution of project goals and deliverables. Organize and oversee execution of project work by cross-functional project teams. Ensure execution of sales or change projects. Ensure assigned ADAS segment projects are timely delivered, within scope and budget. Drive projects through phases and gate reviews per GDPEP development process. Drive escalation and decision by regular reporting to management. Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Perform project risk assessments. Measure project performance. Coordinate development activities and production with internal and customer teams. Drive project management principles throughout organization. Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Provide technical guidance to project stakeholders and teams. Apply knowledge of related disciplines to address issues beyond own team. Exercise judgment within set procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Identify applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available. Travel Up to 25%. Primarily domestic with occasional international travel to meet with customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or closely related field plus 2 years of experience in project management, application, or project engineering occupations in the commercial vehicle industry and demonstrated experience with: Project management using GDPEP methodology; Applying IATF 16949 to meet customers and internal requirements for product releases; Building or contributing to business cases for large-scale automotive parts manufacturers; Financial KPIs including FCM, GMP, and M-ROCE; Commercial vehicle systems related to braking or ADAS; Microsoft Project, including developing and managing Gantt charts with task dependencies, resource assignment, and workload allocation, creating and interpreting Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and identifying critical paths; 6 Sigma, Lean Methodologies, Kaizen, and 5S applied to problem solving and root cause identification; SAP data visualization including customer demands and supplier demands; and PLM Basic knowledge.
