Circulation Specialist, UT Libraries

Assist with branch unit operations in the absence of normally scheduled staff. Perform circulation processes of library materials, shelving of library material, and other collection management tasks. Provide reference services to library users including reference referrals to librarians and other units. Provide customer service and computer assistance; troubleshoot software and equipment.Assist with short-term and long-term branch collection management projects and stacks maintenance.Assist with other branch services support activities such as item record searching and data clean up, basic item preservation tasks such as binding upkeep and relabeling, and/or other tasks relevant to the circulation of UT Libraries collections.Participate in departmental, unit, and library meetings. Serve on committees, functional teams, working groups, stakeholder groups, and/or projects as needed and related to departmental responsibilities. Attend training initiatives as directed by the Manager of Branch Services.Other related duties as assigned.
