Proven video-based human labeling/annotation experience: has annotated behavior in video (emotion/intent/nonverbal cues), not just text; comfortable with edge cases and gold set examples.

Fast, sound judgment: makes timely decisions with imperfect information, stays consistent, and doesnt get stuck debating every case.

Guideline adherence + quality discipline: works well in rule-based systems; applies decision rules consistently, is calibration/QA-minded, and incorporates feedback quickly.

High visual attention to detail: accurately tracks micro-behaviors (face, posture, gaze, gestures, self-soothing) and can tie observations to specific moments in the clip.

Comfort with ambiguity: Ability to move forward effectively even when information is incomplete or outcomes are uncertain.

Strong analytical writing: produces concise, evidence-based rationales grounded in observable cues (not vibes or assumptions).

Empathy / emotional intelligence + neutrality: interprets behavior with nuance (context, masking, mixed affect) and avoids judgmental framing; demonstrates bias/culture awareness.

This is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
