Full job description

Position:

  • Genesee Valley BOCES is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs. This position will work collaboratively with CTE instructors, administrators, students, families, and component school districts to ensure students with disabilities have the supports necessary to be successful in their CTE programs.

Job Duties:

  • Support the implementation of student IEPs with fidelity across CTE programs.

  • Collaborate with CTE instructors to provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and instructional supports.

  • Provide direct academic and organizational support to students who need additional assistance.

  • Communicate and collaborate with students’ home districts regarding progress, needs, and IEP implementation.

  • Participate in program-wide student intervention and support teams.

  • Assist staff in developing strategies to support diverse learners within both classroom and hands-on CTE settings.

The ideal candidate will be collaborative, student-centered, flexible, and comfortable supporting students and teachers across a variety of CTE programs and learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities Grades 7-12 Generalist, Students with Disabilities All Grades.

Locations:

  • Batavia Campus

Start Date:

  • October 2026

Salary:

  • $45,000-$55,000—Negotiable based on experience
