Nature's Recipe™ dog food and treats portfolio. The timing of this opening could not be more exciting as we are actively repositioning the brand to establish a more distinct and ownable point of view that is compelling to customers and meaningful to pet parents.
This role offers a true classical brand marketing experience. You will help clarify segmentation, targeting and positioning in the super-premium dog food segment, then build robust, multi-year plans that bring the strategy to life across product, price, place and promotion. Nature's Recipe™ is an important part of PCB's future growth, giving you exposure to key leaders as we build the brand for the future.
Key responsibilities span both general management and brand building. You will drive growth with an analytical mindset, deliver actionable business insights through analysis and forecasting, lead cross-functional teams, and act as a hub for core renovation and new product innovation. You will steward the brand internally and externally while thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide consumer, category and competitive insights and co-develop targeted selling propositions that address consumer and retailer needs.

Deliver in-depth analysis of sales trends by product line, SKU, retail customer, channel and geography to identify opportunities to grow volume and inform business decisions.

Gather competitive intelligence, identify consumer and business knowledge gaps, and partner with Consumer Insights to apply market research effectively.

Strengthen demand forecasting and support monthly demand reviews, annual plans and long-range planning forecasts.

Lead product innovation and renovation commercialization from ideation through product launch, keeping projects on time and within budget.

Steward the Nature's Recipe™ brand and bring its positioning to life across the four Ps: product, price, place and promotion.

Partner with Sales and Trade Marketing to ensure brand growth plans are feasible at retail, while helping build channel growth strategies and support the e-commerce business.

Partner with Integrated Marketing Communications to shape compelling agency briefs, media strategy, consumer communications and total brand plans.

Manage and prioritize multiple projects so cross-functional teams are aligned to business needs, appropriately resourced and focused on key customer and stakeholder expectations.

Proactively communicate recommendations, project status, issues and opportunities to cross-functional partners and leadership.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree required. A degree in marketing or finance is preferred.

Experience using syndicated data, including Nielsen or similar sources, to extract insights and tell a clear business story.

Experience with demand forecasting, volume drivers and annual planning.

Knowledge of brand building and the four Ps: product, price, place and promotion.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a complex, matrixed organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $89,506 - $132,468 per year.
