Job Title: Installation and Service Technician- Earn $80k-100k in first year!

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing hydraulic and bi-fold doors used in airport hangers, commercial buildings, and warehouses. This role requires daily use of hand tools and power tools. Electrical training is preferred, and the ideal candidate must be trainable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair hydraulic and bi-fold doors.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations.

• Travel throughout the Midwest for service calls.

• Work at heights, typically up to 20 feet.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, construction, and mechanical installations.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Ability to repair and service equipment.

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical training is preferred.

• Willingness to train on specific products.

• Previous travel experience for work is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position requires travel mainly through the upper Midwest, with plans to be out of town Monday through Thursday night or Friday morning, returning home on Fridays for the weekend. Expect to work 1214-hour days starting at 6 AM on Mondays. The work is year-round, and while generally enclosed in the winter, the environments may not always be heated. Anticipate working 45-60 hours per week.

Compensation

Starting Hourly Wage between $25-35/hr + additional hourly pay for overnight trips

Paid Drive time

Company vehicle and hotel provided

Daily Per Diem for all food/expenses

Additional $3-4/hr if employee has their CDL (not a requirement for employment)

Typical 1st year employee makes $80,000-$100,000

This is a Permanent position based out of West Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
