The Product Innovation Trainee Rotational Program offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the end-to-end lifecycle of a beauty product. This trainee will rotate through Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain , building an understanding of how consumer insights inform product concepts and how those products are developed, commercialized, and delivered to market.
Working alongside cross-functional teams, the trainee will contribute to meaningful business projects while gaining exposure to brand strategy, product innovation, and global operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Marketing
-
Support brand and marketing initiatives through consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market research.

Assist with digital marketing, consumer engagement, product marketing, and marketing analytics projects.

Track consumer and industry trends and help translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand how consumer needs influence product and brand decisions.
Product Development
-
Support the product development process through trend research, competitive product tracking, and concept development.

Assist with formula and product evaluations, sample preparation, and creative requests.

Help develop seasonal trend reports and competitive evaluation materials to identify innovation and white-space opportunities.

Partner with Product Development, R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to understand how products move from concept through commercialization.

Learn how to assess and communicate product texture, aesthetics, materials, and overall consumer experience.
Supply Chain
-
Gain exposure to areas such as demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing operations, global brand supply chain, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Support projects related to product availability, operational efficiency, and process improvement.

Analyze business processes and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how products are sourced, produced, and delivered to consumers.

Explore opportunities to use AI and automation to improve reporting, generate insights, and streamline workflows.
Qualifications

Strong interest in the beauty, luxury, consumer products, or creative industries

Curiosity about marketing, product development, and supply chain

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Experience using AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools to generate insights or improve processes is a plus

Previous internship, project, or extracurricular experience in a corporate, creative, design, or operational environment is preferred

Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management, Product Development, Product Design, Consumer Analytics, Engineering, Interior Architecture/Design, Business in the Creative Industries, or a related field.
