Full job description

The goal of this role Make Sixtyfour and our CEO essential follows on X and LinkedIn. We want posts that builders and operators quote, send to group chats, and bring up later. We want a company account with a recognizable personality and a founder whose ideas people seek out. We look at what Agent Mail has done and want to be in that conversation. You’ll own the writing, voice, and judgment behind that presence. Know what deserves a post, find the angle that makes it travel, and know when the best move is a reply or saying nothing. Success means the right people know who we are, remember what we say, and keep coming back. What Sixtyfour does Sixtyfour is deep research for a business’s most consequential decisions. Is every one of the 150 engineers a company lists actually on its team? Is that remote vendor who they say they are? Customers come to us when being wrong is expensive. That shapes our voice: sharp, specific, with a sense of humor, restrained, and never claiming to know everything. What you’ll do Your primary focus is our company X & LinkedIn accounts and our CEO’s. Launches, customer stories, and team voices support that work.

  • Own the voice. Decide what gets posted, when, and by whom. Write for the company account and turn our CEO’s ideas into posts that sound like him.
  • Figure out what travels. Experiment with formats, hooks, timing, and distribution. Understand why people share a post, who it reaches, and what makes them return. Turn what you learn into better work without repeating the same joke until it dies.
  • Create moments. Plan launches, product drops, and stunts so they land as events. We would rather have five posts people quote than fifty they scroll past.
  • Make our customers’ work visible. Turn real use cases into narratives: the problem, the steps in Sixtyfour, and the outcome. Start with trust & safety teams. Show how customers use us without turning each post into a sales pitch.
  • Join the conversation. Spend time daily where our audience is, in replies, quote posts, and threads and contribute something worth reading.
  • Help our team find their voices. Help founders and employees post in distinct voices of their own, from deadpan and cheeky to thoughtful and serious.
  • Run the operation. Keep score and use what you learn to make the next post better.

What success looks like

  • People bring up Sixtyfour posts unprompted, on X and in DMs and group chats.
  • Builders and operators we want to reach regularly reply, share our posts, and come back for more.
  • Our audience and reach grow because the work is worth following.
  • Posts lead to demos, intros, candidates, and investors who say, “I saw your post.”
  • Our CEO is regularly named when people list the founders worth following.

You might be great for this role if

  • You’ve built an account people pay attention to, your own or a company’s, and can show us.
  • You write well and fast, and you can write in someone else’s voice so well that nobody notices. We’re huge fans of automation but this role does require a level of taste and that comes from strong writing skills and human judgement.
  • You live on tech/startup X and know what’s funny, what’s cringe, and what’s about to be both.
  • You have taste and can explain your choices. You know when a trend is right for us and when to leave it alone.
  • You think in experiments and numbers without letting the scorecard dictate every creative decision.
  • You can handle sensitive subject matter. Our work involves verifying people and companies, so the tone has to stay mindful of that.
  • Bonus: you’ve ghostwritten for a founder, run launches, or worked with creators.

What we’re not We’re not looking for an engagement-bait machine, a scheduler of generic posts, or a content calendar filled with GTM updates. We’re also not looking for anyone who wants to make us sound all-knowing. How to apply Send us a link to your X account or an account you’ve helped run. If your contribution isn’t obvious, tell us what you owned.
