Full job description
Company description
Publicis Groupe is a global leader in communication and is positioned at every step of the value chain, from consulting to execution, combining marketing transformation and digital business transformation. Through a unified and fluid organization, Publicis Groupe partners with its clients across communication, media, data and technology to ensure access to the full breadth of capabilities in every market. Present in over 100 countries, Publicis Groupe employs around 103,000 professionals.
Overview
Our Senior Experience Designers craft digital experiences people love to use. They are collaborators and innovators who thrive in multidisciplinary teams, comfortable starting from a blank page and not afraid to get their hands dirty making the vision a reality.
This role sits at the heart of the internal platforms that support how our teams plan, buy, and measure media for global clients. You'll design end-to-end workflows for expert users, turning complex, data-heavy processes into experiences that feel simple, clear, and trustworthy, and you'll help build, scale, and govern the design system that keeps those tools consistent and accessible as they grow. As part of a team that includes UX, Product Management, and Engineering, you’ll help shape our approach, drive high standards, and make sure we apply systems thinking to all our work.
Responsibilities
-
Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) for ideation, research, and prototyping, including AI-assisted coding tools
-
Experience building and scaling design systems. Production experience with Figma variables, tokens, and component libraries
-
A portfolio that shows both range and craft across devices and contexts — with clear evidence of simplifying complex, data-dense workflows and of systems thinking at scale
-
Hybrid design chops: strong UX fundamentals paired with refined visual design craft. The ability to explore rapidly and build polished solutions, often in the same conversation.
-
Experience designing multi-role workflows with approvals, permissions, versioning, and audit trails
-
Experience designing AI-powered products, with the instinct to treat AI as a platform capability rather than a one-off feature, and to make AI recommendations explainable, showing their sources and confidence, and easy to accept, edit, or reject
-
Experience planning and running user research and usability testing with domain experts, and turning findings into clear design decisions
-
Mastery of visual and interaction design principles: color, typography, layout, hierarchy, and motion that communicates state and relationships — the details that make the difference between good and great
-
Serious attention to detail — we move fast, and precision matters
-
5–7 years designing digital products, with real time spent on platform, enterprise, or systems-level work, including leading design work from concept through launch
-
Strongly preferred
-
Agency, product, or platform experience — ideally a mix
-
Advanced prototyping that goes beyond the basics: high-fidelity, interactive prototypes,
-
Holistic, strategic thinking across user flows, experience models, and end-to-end journeys, with the ability to see the full picture
-
Understanding of human-in-the-loop design principles and how to make them a core, lasting part of a system
-
Good design judgment when things are unclear, and the ability to articulate design decisions with senior leadership through clear storytelling
-
Hands-on accessibility practice (WCAG 2.2 AA, keyboard-first use, screen reader support) and a design sensibility that integrates ethics, privacy, and transparency
-
Experience moving expert users to new platforms, and designing for adoption
-
Comfort defining and tracking UX success metrics such as task time, error rates, and adoption
-
Comfortable sketching and riffing ideas
Qualifications
Nice to Have :
-
Working knowledge of front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
-
Background in HCI, Human Factors, or interaction design
-
A formal design education
-
Experience in advertising, media, or marketing technology
Required Qualifications :
-
5–7 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design of complex digital products, enterprise platforms, or workflow-driven applications.
-
Proven experience designing products from the ground up, translating complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive, scalable solutions, including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
-
Strong understanding of the media, advertising, or media technology industry, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and influence user-centered design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications :
-
Experience designing or modernizing interconnected enterprise platforms, including complex workflows, system integrations, data-heavy applications, or unified user experiences across multiple tools.
