Monroe Community College Position Title: Geology, Student Aide - Part-Time - Monroe Community College Location: Rochester, NY Category: Student Employment Job Type: Part Time Posted On: Mon Sep 21 2026 Job Description:Function of Position:Responsible for assisting geology faculty and current geology students with duties related to Physical Geology labs and other geology labs, as appropriate. This position will constitute a maximum of five hours per week.Examples of Duties & Responsibilities: * Hold one to two hours of open lab time within the Geosciences Resource Room. * Assist introductory-level geology students during active lab meetings. * Meet with geology professors to prepare for introductory lab exercises.MCC Expectations: * Adheres to the College Code of Conduct. * Contributes to, supports, and maintains an equitable, inclusive, and collaborative College environment. * Maintains technological competencies utilized by the College. * Commits to the philosophy of a comprehensive community college. * Commits to professional growth.
