Registered Nurse (RN) – San Leandro,CA

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $39.70, Stipend (Lodging $1,064.00 + M&I $644.00) = $1,708.00,

Total Comp: $3,375.40

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • 12hrs 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM

  • 36 hours/ week

Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN

NICU RN Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and medically fragile newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

  • Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient condition, responding promptly to changes or emergencies.

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, and safely operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors.

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized, high-quality patient care.

  • Assist with feeding, nutrition, hygiene, and developmental care while maintaining a safe and infection-controlled environment.

  • Provide education, communication, and emotional support to parents and families regarding the newborn’s condition and plan of care.

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing / Associate of Science in Nursing.

  • Current RN license in State of CA

  • BLS, ACLS,Certification

  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Level IlI Neonatal Intensive Care experience

  • Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level IlI Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten (10) years) preferred.

  • Additional certifications may be required

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
