Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking an experienced Compliance Project Coordinator. The Compliance Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and documentation of projects to ensure full compliance with state and third-party regulatory requirements. This position bridges the gap between design, production, inspection, and certification teams to maintain conformance with applicable building codes, state modular programs (e.g., Texas IHB, California HCD, etc.), and internal quality standards.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with state modular building authorities and inspection agencies.

  • Oversee state submittals, plan approvals, audits, and renewal processes across multiple jurisdictions for all Panelmatic facilities

  • Manage application process for state certifications from start to finish

  • Work with Engineering, Project Management, Accounting and Operations to gather necessary information for state/regulatory certification applications

  • Maintain up to date status of all state/regulatory certifications for all Panelmatic facilities

  • Facilitate communication among engineering, production, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and customer specifications.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, Construction Management, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in modular building, construction compliance, or quality coordination.

  • Familiarity with state modular programs (e.g., Texas Industrialized Housing & Buildings, California HCD, Florida DBPR, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience coordinating third-party inspections or certification programs preferred.

  • Working knowledge of electrical standards preferred (e.g., IEC, HUD, NEC, IPC, ISO, IBC, UL, NFPA etc.)

  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement/testing equipment

  • Experience with ISO-9001 quality management systems (QMS)

  • Computer literate and experience working with ERP systems

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required

  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required

  • Alignment with company core values required
