HR Manager (Human Resources Manager)

JOB SUMMARY: The People and Culture Manager facilitates the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. This role encompasses responsibilities in employee relations, training and development, recruiting, associate activities, and other assigned projects. The position aims to foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. This position will also be safety oriented this person will be the safety champion of the site. Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The People and Culture Manager assists in developing and leading Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Recruiting and staffing. Interview and Document employee investigations. Performance management. Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting. Employee orientation, development and training. Policy development and documentation. Employee relations. Company employee communication. Compensation and benefits administration as needed. Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health. Employee services and counseling. Other assigned duties as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Problem solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Interpersonal Skills - the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things. Oral communication - the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings. Written communication - the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
