In Life Line Screening’s community event-based setting, you will manage a fast-paced work environment in a different location each day. Life Line Screening is a leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings, having screened over 11 million customers in over 30+ years. As part of our trained clinical team, you will perform medically appropriate screenings that give customers valuable insights into their health.

What you’ll do as a Leader at Life Line Screening:

Provide direct support, training, and development to team and maintain Life Line Screening’s high standards of clinical quality and customer service

Work with the Operations Director to set team performance and budgetary goals, and coach and encourage team to achieve or exceed them

Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff

Complete end-of-day duties such as reports, paperwork, bank deposits, shipping/receiving functions, company van maintenance, and other operations duties as required
What you’ll do as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant at Life Line Screening:
-
Cross train and participate in all core Medical Assistant duties including Ankle Brachial Index, Osteoporosis, AFIB, Registration and Laboratory screening areas

Review participant records for accuracy and completeness
-
Conduct Venipuncture and finger-sticks, where scheduled
-
Monitor patients for reactions as well as ensure the quality of the sample

Ensure patient confidentiality and comfortability while meeting customer service expectations throughout entire process

Oversee and ensure proper sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas between patients
-
Properly package and ship specimens to central lab on a daily basis, where applicable
What you'll need to be successful at Life Line Screening:
-
Extensive work experience with customer-facing Medical Assistant and phlebotomy duties
-
Precision phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience with adult venipuncture.

Proven work experience in a leadership capacity

Experienced with centrifuge and separating serum and plasma specimens into transport tubes using transfer devices
-
Skilled in inpatient or outpatient draw experience (hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office traveling phlebotomist, or draw center, etc.)

Desire to provide unparalleled customer service

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
-
Strength in leadership, teamwork & collaboration; sharing responsibilities driving the company van, loading, and unloading equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Certification in phlebotomy from either the ASCP, NPA, NHA or AMT is preferred
