This job was posted by https://joblink.maine.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.maine.gov/jobs/1388622 Horizon Support Network LLC is hiring Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide compassionate, reliable support to individuals in their homes and communities. PSS employees assist clients with daily living activities while helping them maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. Responsibilities include: - Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living - Meal preparation and light housekeeping - Providing companionship and supervision - Assisting with mobility and community activities as needed - Following each clients individual care plan - Completing required documentation accurately and on time - Communicating professionally with clients, families, and supervisors Qualifications: - Reliable, dependable, and compassionate - Must be able to pass required background checks - PSS certification preferred; training opportunities may be available for qualified applicants - Previous caregiving or direct-support experience is preferred but not required - Reliable transportation is preferred
