Full job description

ABOUT OVERVIEW.AI Overview.ai is bringing the cutting edge of AI computer vision to manufacturing, solving inspection problems that were previously not solvable with traditional machine vision. We're a full-stack company: we deploy GPU-powered cameras on production lines, run inference on the edge, and operate a platform that supports large fleets of devices deployed across the world. We're growing extremely fast. Our customers love the product because it works: high accuracy, fast deployment, and an operator-friendly experience that makes real factory rollouts possible, not just pilots.

THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a cold start. We already have major logos, executive buy-in, and deployments running on real production lines, and we're taking that motion into new U.S. regions. You'll open new inspection points and new logos, then turn first-station wins into multi-line, multi-site rollouts. You can come from either side: a proven industrial seller with real technical depth, or a hands-on controls, automation, or vision engineer ready to own a number.

WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING

  • Territory ownership from day one: You own pipeline, forecast, and revenue, with credit across every site in the accounts you own.

  • Delta selling, not slick talk: You win on technical advantages you can demonstrate on the line.

  • Real support, not hero mode: You get a dedicated applications and engineering escalation path and a proven evaluation playbook.

  • Clear path up: Strategic Accounts, Regional Lead, player-coach, and GM-style territory ownership as we scale.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Territory revenue: Own pipeline, forecast, and revenue from BDR-sourced and inbound opportunities through close.

  • Technical discovery: Run high-signal discovery with Quality, Process, Automation, and Ops to find the real inspection problem and where the incumbent fails.

  • Hands-on demos and evaluations: Build recipes, demo on real parts, and own POCs end to end, from line access and acceptance criteria to the readout that converts.

  • Urgency and closing: Drive milestones to dates, unblock line access and integration issues early, and close without drift to next quarter.

  • Expansion: Turn first-station wins into repeatable rollouts across lines, plants, and inspection points.

  • Field presence: Live in the factory, with 60 to 80% travel across your territory.

WHO YOU ARE Required

  • You've personally deployed, commissioned, or debugged automation, vision, or industrial hardware on a production floor.

  • You pick up a new technical product from its documentation and put it to work fast.

  • You explain technical concepts plainly to plant and quality engineers, and you say "I don't know" instead of guessing.

  • You've owned a number, earned commission, or driven a deal or expansion you can speak to with specifics. If you are more technical, you have experience on a factory floor and know how to engage with technical customers or stakeholders.

  • You do the homework and ask the right questions before you pitch.

  • You live in or will relocate to your territory, and you're energized by 60 to 80% travel.

Strong Preferences

  • Machine vision experience with Keyence, Cognex, or AI inspection vendors.

  • Manufacturing floor time in automotive, aerospace, or electronics.

  • PLC, controls, or automation

  • Startup or new-territory experience.

WHY OVERVIEW.AI

  • Extreme growth and real-world impact: We're not building demos. We're deploying AI systems on real production lines, at scale.

  • Talent density: You'll work with world-class engineers and operators across AI, embedded systems, and enterprise deployment.

  • Front-row seat to the AI manufacturing wave: One of the biggest transformations happening in industry right now.

  • Ownership: Your work directly changes the trajectory of the company.

  • Global exposure: You'll work with the most advanced customers and factories in the world.
