About Phaselaw Phaselaw is rebuilding the legacy eDiscovery industry from the ground up, empowering in-house legal teams with tools for document production that bypass the existing services-heavy approach. We're Seed stage but are growing over 20% each month and are working with Fortune 200 companies and some of the largest law firms in the world.
The Role We’re looking for a Founding Marketer to help scale our GTM motion. You'll work closely with our Founders and Sales team to lead marketing efforts across the business — from events to inbound. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you’ll directly shape the future of Phaselaw’s brand and go-to-market.
What You’ll Do First Week

Get onboarded, meet everyone on our team.

Attend sales demos and customer calls to learn how we pitch

Dive into our lead metrics.
First Month

Review and adjust our ad campaigns

Take over our content calendar

Help lead event planning
By 90 Days

Develop a quarterly marketing plan.

Build metrics and attribution for our marketing efforts.
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years of experience in in-house marketing, ideally with startups or fast-moving teams.

Experience with SEO, SEM, and inbound-led lead generation

Experience with conferences and other events

Excitement about tackling work hands-on rather than relying on agencies

Excellent writing skills

A bias for action: You ship fast and iterate based on feedback.

Extreme ownership: You're excited to make a mark and you make sure balls don't get dropped.

Location This role is in-person (with a hybrid schedule) in New York. We'll also consider candidates in the UK. Compensation New York: $150-200k UK: £75k-100k plus generous equity and benefits
