Adecco assists a local client recruiting for Senior Financial Analyst opportunities in Maple Grove MN 55311 . This is an excellent opportunity to join an American biotechnology and biomedical engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices used in interventional medical specialties, including interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral interventions, neuromodulation, neurovascular intervention, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, endoscopy, oncology, urology and gynecology. Responsibilities for Senior Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:

Collaborate with Global Divisional, Corporate Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure M&A-related transactions are accurately accounted for, reconciled, supported, and reported, while providing visibility into financial performance.

Interpret M&A financial terms and translate contractual requirements into effective accounting processes, financial schedules, and internal controls.
-
Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of M&A-related financial activities.

Coordinate M&A billing activities, including validation of charges, preparation of supporting calculations and documentation, invoice reconciliation, and resolution of billing discrepancies.

Support the establishment and execution of accounting processes related to M&A activity, including account mapping, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
-
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring M&A-related transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and within the appropriate accounting period.

Partner with Accounting and Controllership teams to evaluate and resolve accounting issues arising from M&A transactions and agreements.

Collaborate with service owners and Global Finance teams to validate costs, allocations, and charges, ensuring appropriate and timely cost recovery.

Support financial tracking, analysis, and reporting for services provided under M&A-related agreements.

Maintain comprehensive supporting documentation and audit trails for key calculations, accounting entries, billing activity, reconciliations, and management judgments.
-
Assist with internal and external audit requests related to M&A financial activities, as required.

Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with established quality requirements, financial policies, and internal controls.
Candidates for Senior Financial Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:
-
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
-
5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, controllership, FP&A, or a related Finance/Accounting discipline.
-
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, period-end close processes, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
-
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, or other significant business transition activities.
-
Knowledge of contractual service arrangements and related financial management processes.
-
Experience working in ERP environments and navigating complex financial systems.
-
Experience working within an SAP environment.
-
Proven ability to operate effectively in a large, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial agreements and requirements.
-
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial documentation, support schedules, and audit-ready records.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Accounting, Controllership, and business functions.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support period-end close and reporting requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $59.83 per hour
