Full job description

Maintenance Technicians are vital for MDOT to maintain Mississippi's highway system. These critical personnel perform maintenance activities such as pavement repair, mowing, sign repair, drainage system maintenance, storm debris removal, etc. within the Districts. Each County in the District has a maintenance office from which maintenance staff and equipment mobilize to meet the maintenance needs within that County. Maintenance technicians also assist in the operations and upkeep of all Rest Areas, Welcome Centers and MDOT facilities within the District. Must have a High School Diploma and be at least 18 years of age. Candidate must have a Class A CDL. Also candidate mst have at least 11 months of experience. Employer is hiring for the following countries: Hinds, Madison, and Rankin.
