Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Senior Companion to provide essential personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to clients in accordance with an established plan of care. The goal of this role is to empower our clients to maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort within their own homes.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide consistent companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation.
  • Support clients with shopping, running errands, and local transportation.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishwashing, laundry, and changing bed linens.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Previous experience as a Homemaker or Companion in a home or facility setting is considered an asset.
  • Ability to pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment.
  • Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable, insured automobile for daily travel.
