Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will serve as technical expert on all matters pertaining to the management of Marine Corps Property under the cognizance of 1st Force Storage Battalion. You will direct the initiation, development, implementation and administration of Supply Programs as well as the evaluation of procedures that will ensure optimum support to Marine Corps Units deployed worldwide. You will exercise significant responsibility in dealing with officials, other units in advising higher-level management officials. You will provide technical guidance, interpret regulations and procedures, assist in determining cause of problems encountered, and develop methods and directing actions to resolve issues. You will assign work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will hear and resolve group grievances or serious employee complaints. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing internal controls to maintain audit-compliant inventory, leads data-driven supply program improvements, manages budget execution aligned to organizational requirements, leverages supply systems expertise to optimize operations, and provides cross-functional supply chain management guidance and support. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
