Job Description
Ideal location: Northern California, San Fran, or Seattle
The Regional Director (RD), Sales is a dynamic leader responsible for guiding a high-performing sales team across a defined geographic region. This role drives strategic business outcomes, fosters an accountable and inclusive culture, and develops talent through coaching and mentorship. The RD serves as a key liaison between field teams and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead talent acquisition and onboarding, providing structured experiences that build competence, confidence, and cultural integration.

Deliver adaptive coaching tailored to individual needs, balancing performance expectations with emotional intelligence.

Identify growth opportunities and create individualized development plans to support advancement and retention.

Guide team members in navigating Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), fostering collaboration and strategic engagement.

Maintain balance between clinical leadership and sales execution, ensuring mutual respect and shared goals.

Collaborate with IDN stakeholders to align regional strategies with enterprise goals and drive execution.

Leverage data analytics and Salesforce to track trends, forecast performance, and identify growth opportunities.

Build actionable business plans that reflect regional priorities and customer needs, defining success metrics.

Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable through consistent feedback and performance reviews.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of regional strategies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Minimum 8 years of related sales experience within the medical device industry. Minimum 2 years of management or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience managing new product launches and complex sales processes for critical care products in the medical device space, with a focus on major surgery and intensive care.

Management experience within the medical device arena, including sales of Critical Care and Vascular products in various healthcare settings.

Demonstrated skills in leadership, coaching, budgeting, negotiating, selling, and strategic planning.

Experience in managing both Capital and Disposables.

Strong business, financial, creative, strategic, analytical, and competitive skills.
-
Ability to provide strategic input to cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in systems and applications such as Salesforce.com, Concur, Microsoft Office, web conferencing tools, etc.
