Business Systems Analyst V

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to act as a cross-functional liaison between multiple business units. The BSA must have a strong background in maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) to support the design, optimization, and implementation of business processes and IT solutions across the maintenance lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with maintenance management, work management, service management, asset management, and repair processes, and understands how these processes are enabled through enterprise IT.

Skills and Requirements

• Utilize the four pillars of business analyses to analyze various requests from the business § Strategy analysis, Requirements analysis & design definition, Solution evaluation, Business process improvement

• Author as-is business process diagrams (swimlane flow) as part of business process analysis and IT change request interpretation

• Understanding of end-to-end MRO and maintenance processes

• Author solution proposal documents (spreadsheets, presentations, narratives)

• Author functional specification documents for the technical development team

• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing of application changes

• Understanding of general SDLC (software development lifecycle) process and willing to learn General Atomics specific SDLC process § Including the application change request/approval process flow using ServiceNow

• Understand General IT project management framework at a high level § Waterfall, agile, or similar

• Understand system configuration foundation § SAP, Ramco, ServiceNow, and Saas systems with similar configuration settings

• Requirement validation and re-shaping invalid requirements into valid requirements Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted

• Experience using AI

• 5+ yrs in ServiceNow

• 3+ yrs in MRO Systems Configuration 3+ yrs experience in various SaaS applications configuration
