Role Overview The Senior Maintenance Associate ensures the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of assigned buildings performing daily and seasonal upkeep, coordinating and supervising vendors, responding to work orders and emergencies, preparing spaces and units for use, traveling across sites as needed, and continuously developing skills to support high quality, efficient facility operations. Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures, including lighting, plumbing, and basic carpentry. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address safety hazards, maintenance needs, and cleanliness standards. May travel to other locations occasionally for support or be available evenings and weekends. Responsible for overseeing major cleaning projects such as: painting (interior and exterior), stripping and waxing floors, rug and carpet cleaning, Responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance as well as making sure assigned building(s) are consistently cleaned to provide a safe work environment Overseeing daily cleaning duties. including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning walls. windows, restrooms, emptying and cleaning trash containers, when needed, Monitor building-related mechanical systems. Handle work orders in a timely and efficient manner. Attend developmental trainings as requested. Handle work orders in a timely. efficient, and safe manner. Communicate with and collaborate with onsite property management and property staffto ensure all maintenance needs are met within assigned facility. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed and report major repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of exterior grounds, trash removal and basic janitorial duties. Work collaboratively With Other employees. Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success. PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Job duties may need to be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to reach in all directions and climb a ladder, when needed. Other Requirements: Comply with program and/or requirements related to: Background check DMV check Additional Requirements Driver's license Automobile insurance Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1-3 years relevant experience Prior experience with electrical work, plumbing, general building maintenance, painting and HVAC. Preferred Associate's Degree (AA) 3-5 years relevant experience Certifications and Licensure Preferred CMRT, HVAC Certification; CAMT, BOC, OSHA Safety Certification; FMP
