Metallus Internships Include: * Competitive salary ($19.25-$33.50 per hour) * Based upon major, degree type, and class status * Housing options (if eligible) * Real-world experience that provides a competitive edge upon graduation * Casual work environment * Career planning and development workshops * Organized social activities and community service events * Networking with leadership, hiring managers, and early career colleagues Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027 * Start date: 05/17/2027 * Assist engineers with day-to-day technical support for production and maintenance activities * Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues to minimize downtime * Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities * Assist in developing and updating work instructions * Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives * Support small capital or continuous improvement projects, including design, planning, and execution * Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and quality teams * Create and update technical documentation, drawings, and reports * Lead a process or equipment improvement project focused on increasing efficiency, reducing downtime, or improving product quality.
