Full job description

Why this role matters New Generation Wellness (NGW) has manufactured dietary supplements for more than a century, and we're a fifth-generation, family-owned company that makes products for our customers' brands. We're hiring a Process Engineer to own the performance of our commercial production lines: find the biggest sources of loss, fix them with data, and make the improvements stick. If you want measurable impact on yield, OEE, and cost, and you want to see it on the floor rather than in a slide deck, this is that job. We welcome candidates from anywhere in the U.S. and provide relocation assistance to Colorado Springs. What you'll own - Line performance: Yield, First Time Right (first-pass quality), scrap, downtime, and OEE on existing lines. You'll analyze production data, pinpoint the largest losses, and lead projects to reduce them. - Process control: Critical Process Parameters, Critical Quality Attributes, and control strategies. You'll use SPC and process capability analysis to cut variability. - Root cause and CAPA: Lead investigations into process-related deviations and OOS results, author CAPAs with Quality Assurance, and verify they work. - Continuous improvement roadmap: Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap across all lines, ranked by impact on quality, throughput, and cost. Lead value stream mapping, waste reduction, and Kaizen events using Lean and Six Sigma. - Equipment and validation: Lead or support equipment projects from procurement through FAT/SAT, installation, and IQ/OQ/PQ under 21 CFR Part 111. - Floor support: Be the go-to technical resource for Operations, train operators on process changes, maintain SOPs and batch records through change control, and support new product transfers into manufacturing. You'll work with: Operations, Quality, and Product Development. You'll report to the VP of Product Development. What you bring - Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial, or materials engineering, or a related field - 3+ years of process engineering in a regulated manufacturing environment (nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food) - Hands-on expertise in at least one dosage form: tablets, capsules, powders, softgels, or gummies - Working knowledge of cGMP under 21 CFR Part 111, 211, or 117 - A track record of improving yield, OEE, downtime, or first-pass quality, with measurable results - Experience leading root cause investigations and CAPAs - Strong statistical analysis and process capability skills Nice to have - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent experience - Experience across multiple dosage forms - Process validation and equipment qualification experience - Controlled documentation creation and revision - ERP experience (Deacom preferred) and electronic quality systems What we offer - $110,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications - Relocation assistance for candidates moving to the Colorado Springs area [add specifics once confirmed] - Comprehensive benefits: - Health: a choice of three group medical plans, two dental plans, and vision coverage - Retirement: a 401(k) with employer match - Time off: generous paid time off and holidays, plus paid sick leave in accordance with Colorado law - Employee perks: free and discounted NGW supplements - and more... - A company that is GMP-registered by NSF and UL and certified Kosher and Halal, so you'll be working inside a mature quality system
