Full job description

Location: USA, Remote (AMER remit, US working hours) Reports To: AMER GTM Leadership team Role Overview Wunderkind is looking for a hands-on, high-energy Senior Manager (Team Lead), Pipeline Development to lead our AMER Business Development team. This is a role for a leader who wants to be close to the work every day: running stand-ups, joining call blocks, coaching the next conversation and celebrating every SQL and SAO that follows. You’ll lead a team of up to 10 Business Development professionals who open doors into Enterprise and Strategic brands, and you’ll own the performance that turns their effort into a pipeline our sellers can close. Our GTM leadership owns the pipeline strategy, the playbook, territory design, headcount and compensation. That leaves you free to focus on what great team leads do best: bringing that playbook to life, running the US working day, holding the standard and making every BDA better than they were in the quarter before. If you’re a coach at heart who gets more energy from a rep’s breakthrough than from a strategy deck, and you’re looking for a role where you can build consistency, scale performance and watch a team grow under your leadership, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities

  • SQL and SAO Delivery: Own your team’s delivery of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) against target across our Enterprise and Strategic accounts in AMER, week in and week out.
  • Activity Metrics: Drive the daily and weekly activity standards that power pipeline, from calls and sequences to meetings booked, and keep the team’s effort focused on the accounts that matter most.
  • Run the AMER Day: Lead the rhythm of the US working day, running stand-ups, listening in on calls, coaching the next conversation, running pipeline reviews and managing weekly accountability. Under you, everyone knows where they stand and what comes next.
  • Coaching: Coach every BDA through call reviews, role plays and regular one-on-ones, building the skills and confidence that turn good reps into great ones.
  • Performance Management: Recognize great performance loudly and address underperformance early, fairly and with a clear plan, so the bar stays high and everyone knows how to reach it.
  • Lead by Example: Show the team what great Enterprise outreach looks and sounds like by by picking up the phone alongside your BDAs and living the standards you set
  • Process Improvement: Run our pipeline playbook with discipline, spot where processes can work better, and bring improvements to the playbook’s owner for approval before rolling them out with your team.
  • AE Partnership: Keep every BDA closely aligned with their paired Account Executive, so each SQL and SAO is handed over with the context needed to move it toward Closed-Won.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Enterprise SaaS Pipeline Experience: A minimum of 5 years in pipeline generation specifically within a SaaS environment, selling into Enterprise and Strategic accounts where product commitments are a minimum of 12 months.
  • Proven Team Leadership: At least 3 years leading and coaching a high-performing team, and the ability to articulate clearly how you have managed teams for success.
  • Hands-On by Design: Experience leading individual contributors directly, as this role is built for a front-line coach and isn’t suited to someone who manages through managers or team leads.
  • Marketing SaaS Background: A strong preference for experience in Marketing SaaS or adjacent spaces, such as martech, adtech or ecommerce technology.
  • Sustained Impact: A track record of building strong team performance and keeping it strong over time, through busy quarters, shifting priorities and the occasional curveball.
  • Pipeline Toolkit: Confident with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales engagement platforms, and comfortable using AI tools to sharpen account research and personalization.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Coach at Heart: You get your biggest wins from watching employees book their first Enterprise meetings, and you know how to turn feedback into confidence.
  • Steady and Resilient: You’re able to bring calm, consistency and staying power to our people - keeping your team focused and energized through tough weeks and big quarters alike - while still managing GTM Pipeline with urgency.
  • Standard Setter: You hold a high bar with warmth, and your team always knows what great looks like because you show them.
  • Execution Focused: You love the craft of pipeline and take pride in running a proven playbook brilliantly and improving it alongside your team.
  • Right Role, Right Now: You’re excited by a role that puts all of your energy into your team’s performance, and you’re happy to leave strategy, headcount and compensation to our GTM leadership while you make the day-to-day truly exceptional.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel across the US The base salary range for this role is $100,000–$115,000. This role is also eligible for the team’s variable incentive plan. Compensation is determined based on factors including location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
