Medical Transportation Driver (MAVO)- Non Emergency Medical Transportation

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Helping Hands Medical Transportation LLC is a licensed non-emergency medical transportation provider dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, compassionate, and professional transportation services to individuals traveling to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities.

We are seeking dependable, responsible, and patient-focused Medical Transportation Drivers (MAVO) to join our team.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments.

• Assist ambulatory passengers and individuals using wheelchairs, within authorized training and company safety

procedures.

• Properly operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles, lifts, ramps, and wheelchair securement equipment.

• Follow assigned schedules, dispatch instructions, and approved transportation routes.

• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, patients, caregivers, and healthcare facilities.

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Maintain accurate transportation records using company dispatch technology .

• Follow all applicable transportation regulations, patient confidentiality requirements, and company safety policies.

• Report delays, incidents, vehicle concerns and service issues promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Ability to meet applicable MAVO requirements and company insurance standards.

• Previous medical transportation or professional driving experience preferred

• Strong communication, punctuality, and customer service skills.

• Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility limitations.

• Dependable attendance, professionalism, and patient -centered attitude.

• Ability to complete required background screening, drug testing, and training.

TRAINING

Required certifications and training may include MAVO qualification., Defensive Driving, CPR/BLS, Wheelchair securement, and company-specific transportation procedures. Training requirements must be satisfied before independent assignments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.

Health Insurance: Available to eligible employees, subject to plan terms

Paid sick leave: Provided in accordance with New Jersey Earned Sick Leave Law.

Training: Paid company training provided for qualified candidates.

SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
