Full job description

About Willow Wealth Willow Wealth is a leading platform for private market investing, connecting individual investors with curated opportunities across real estate, private credit, private equity, and more. Founded in 2015, the platform has grown to serve more than 500,000 members with $6.9B+ invested since inception. The company has raised over $250M from leading institutional investors, such as Redbird, Tarsadia, Mayfair, StepStone, and Edison Partners.

About the Role The Investments Analyst will support sourcing, screening, diligence, selection, and monitoring of opportunities across key areas of the platform: direct investments in private real estate debt; direct investments in private credit (asset-backed, specialty finance, and other niche strategies but not direct lending), co-investments in growth equity and other strategies; and third-party alternative investment funds (various private market and hedge fund strategies). This is a highly cross-functional role suited to someone who wants broad exposure to private markets and employ a diverse skill set across direct single asset investing, co-investments, and allocating to third party funds. It is not a narrow single-strategy seat. This candidate will be expected to have demonstrated the ability to improve their own workflows using AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Third-Party Fund Investments & Co-Investments

  • • Assist in sourcing and underwriting third party alternative investment managers and co-investments

  • Conduct due diligence on alternative fund managers across private equity, private credit, private real estate, private infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies

  • Support underwriting of co-investment opportunities in private equity, private real estate (debt, not equity) and private credit (asset based finance strategies)

  • Supporting Process and Research

  • • Prepare Investment Committee and Green Light Committee materials, including memos, models, and presentation decks

  • Synthesize market research and third-party data (e.g., PitchBook, Preqin, CoStar, NAREIT) into concise internal briefings

  • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring analyst and investment team workflows using AI-assisted tools, templates, and automation, and help build durable processes the broader team can reuse

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience that includes material analyst responsibilities at any buy or sell side firm with applicable experience
  • Excellent written communication; comfortable drafting memos for an Investment Committee audience
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to improve day-to-day investment workflows. Candidates who can speak to specific examples will stand out
