On Site Equipment Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Fabick Cat is seeking a skilled and dependable On-Site Equipment Technician to work directly at a customer site in the Manitowoc area. This technician will be responsible for the installation and assembly of engine radiators, engine block heaters, and performing general maintenance duties on engine and generator packages. This technician will act as a front-line representative of Fabick Cat, ensuring reliable equipment performance and delivering exceptional service aligned with both Fabick Cat and customer standards. Key Responsibilities: * Install engine radiators, engine block heating systems, and circuit breakers according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. * Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections, and testing on engine/generator packages. * Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues across supported systems. * Maintain accurate and timely service documentation, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and work orders. * Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with local codes, Fabick Cat safety protocols, and customer site requirements. * Communicate clearly and professionally with customer personnel and Fabick Cat support teams regarding job progress, recommendations, and service needs. * Manage on-site tools, parts, and inventory efficiently and responsibly. * Represent Fabick Cat with professionalism, technical excellence, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
