The team provides analytical support across the marketing lifecycle, including campaign planning, testing, measurement, optimization, and forecasting.

As a Principal Marketing Mix Model & Optimization Developer, you will build and maintain Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to measure the impact of marketing investments on business outcomes and develop optimization frameworks to support marketing budget allocation and scenario planning across products, channels, markets, and time.

  • Develop marketing attribution insights and key performance metrics, including marketing contribution, cost per incremental acquisition, and return on marketing investment (ROMI).

  • Partner with Marketing Analytics and marketing stakeholders to generate actionable insights and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and investment performance.

  • Develop and implement optimization solutions for budget allocation, scenario planning, and resource optimization using tools such as Pyomo, SciPy, or similar frameworks.

  • Communicate analytical methodologies, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Location Preference: Candidates located in the Greater Boston MA, Columbus OH, Charlotte NC, New York NY or Chicago IL are preferred.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, marketing analytics, statistical modeling, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience developing analytical solutions using Python and SQL.

  • 3+ years of experience building Marketing Mix Models (MMM) or similar advanced analytics solutions.

  • Strong expertise in time series modeling, Bayesian methods, and regression modeling.

  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems using statistical modeling and data-driven analysis.

  • Experience developing, testing and deploying optimization solutions to support business strategy and decision-making using Pyomo, SciPy, or similar frameworks.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical insights into clear business recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive business outcomes through data and analytics.

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling and analytics, including regression, time series analysis, ANOVA, decision trees, clustering, and other quantitative techniques.

  • Experience designing and solving linear and nonlinear optimization models using 3rd party solvers like Gurobi, CPLEX, IPOPT, and KNITRO.

  • Experience applying data and analytics within Banking or Financial Services.

  • Experience with model governance, including model documentation, validation, and risk management requirements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate analytical insights into clear business implications for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative team player with experience working across analytics, data engineering, technology, and business teams.

  • Demonstrated ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving complex business problems.
