Full job description

Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is looking for an RN to join our Outpatient Heart and Vascular Specialist team.

You would be responsible for providing higher level clinical support to the health care team by providing superior nursing care services to patients in accordance with established R.N. job standards, policies, and procedures.

What you will do:

  • Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively

  • Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members

  • Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

  • Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited R.N. program

  • Current RN license in the state of Connecticut

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of related clinical and/or hospital experience, or previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred.
