POSITION SUMMARY
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for supporting the successful execution of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs by coordinating project activities, ensuring efficient material management, and facilitating seamless program deployment. This role involves direct collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to optimize inventory solutions, manage project timelines, and oversee on-site implementation. The Implementation Specialist will assist in defining material presentation, updating project plans, coordinating necessary assets, and training customer personnel to ensure a smooth transition. With a strong focus on organization, communication, and problem-solving, this position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency and customer success.
Pay starting at: $60,000+
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist project manager in executing on site customer related implementation tasks

Assist in on site sample collection and bin fill level to ensure economical ordering quantities

Assist in on site customer implementation meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Assist in project plan updates and project budget adherence

Work with external stakeholders to define the material presentation and design of VMI program

Providing ongoing project updates to project manager or internal and external stakeholders

Help coordinate delivery of assets needed for VMI setup (racks, bins, labels)

Provide initial upload files for CPS program and input into proprietary bin management software
-
Assist in physical implementation of on-site VMI program and post "go live" deployment updates
-
Responsible to train on site customer personnel on how VMI program works to ensure smooth transition and long-term success

All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
-
College degree with emphasis in business or supply chain preferred, or equivalent two years of industry work experience
-
Previous experience in project coordination, implementation, or supply chain/logistics is preferred.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders.

Proficiency in data entry, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
-
Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in physical implementation tasks.

Ability to travel to customer sites as needed - up to 60%
