Production Manager

Production Manager - Oversee the daily operations of all of production. Be sure the correct jobs are running in all departments, times & delivery schedules are being met. Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software Attend Production Control Meetings & get Schedules. Review the Work Center Efficiency & Employee Efficiency reports Dailey to insure that we are meeting our goals. Maintains our Quality & Delivery goals for the organization. Maintains systems, procedures and methods for record keeping, cost gathering and accounts reporting. Take care of any Employee variances & be sure all times are recorded. Prepare a variety of reports on business activities and status as required. Provides guidance and consultation to management and employees on organizational and administrative matters. Provides a variety of supportive services as directed by the President. If any machine maintance issues come up , report them to the VP of Operations. Performs other related duties as required. Communicates with President and management team regarding administrative & employee issues and conflicts. Oversees the following. CNC Turning / CNC Milling / Sheet Metal Fabricating / Assembly / Part Marking / Water Jet / Shipping & Receiving / Driver & Quality Inspectors. In the case of Quality he will direct the inspectors as to what has to be done. Any reject or discrepancies will go to the quality manager & the President. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or at least 4 year of related experience. A basic knowledge of Quality principles and practices. Have an understanding ISO or AS9100 Quality System. Has had experience managing & directing people. Has good communication skills & has an understanding on how to motivate people.
