As a member of the Global Operations Equipment group, Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems by working with teams to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and design.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or quality experience, Preference will be given to applicants with Engineering experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, a bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Engineering or Applied Science highly desired.

  • Ability to work effectively on a team and serve as a positive change agent.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate across levels and within a complex matrix.

  • Managerial level presentation skills must be able to sell ideas and influence others.

  • Understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma concepts – quality mindset

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $68900-98200 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible.
