Global Operations Supplier Process Engineer Co-Op Opportunities – Franklin, MA

Our Global Supplier Quality Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Co-op for our Data Science program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

This role supports Dell’s Global Supplier Quality Engineering team by

  • Developing data analytics tools and dashboards to monitor and improve hardware quality.

  • Identify data quality issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive improvements

  • Supporting roll out of Dell Native Edge solutions

  • Using Node Red to develop data flows, along with JSON and Javascript.

  • Leverage SQL to structure large real time data sets into tables and views.

  • Develop data visualizations using Power BI and Grafana.

It’s a great opportunity to apply technical skills in a real-world setting and contribute to impactful quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Student working towards a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science and/or Data Science

  • Strong proficiency in engineering principles and software knowledge.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing tools.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of data sets used in manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with use of LLMs and Machine Learning technologies.

  • Use of Confluence and JIRA platforms

Compensation

  • Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The rate for this role is $21.80-$24.20/per hour for Bachelors and $37.42/hr for Masters.
